Description
Condemned poisonous, Mistletoe might very well be one of our most misunderstood healing remedies here in Europe. But while the consumption of berries and fresh leaves is indeed not recommended, the dried herb has been used for tea since millenia.
Bridge-walker, I like to call her.
Mistletoe forms spherical balls that seem to float around the branches of apple, oak, hawthorn, or poplar trees – suspended between earth & sky. Bridges between here and there, this realm and the realms beyond our perception.
In druid societies, mistletoe was well known for her abilities to connect us with the mystical. She helps us form bonds not only with each other – the tradition of kissing underneath mistletoe has spread widely – but also to the more-than-human world. She can support us in establishing an enchanted perception of our surrounding and dig out a faith we believed burried & forgotten.
Faith in magic.
This elixir captures the bridge-building spirit of Mistletoe. It intends to support our connection to spirits, ancestors & the unseen realms and restore our lost faith in an animated, enchanted, multidimensional reality. It can also aid us when we feel stuck in transitions or inbetween-spaces, and has a strong protective energy.
It is an extraction of Mistletoe leaves in vegetable glycerine which is vegan and doesn’t contain alcohol.
30ml
On a physical level, Mistletoe leaves are said to stimulate the metabolism, improve cardio-vascular health by lowering blood pressure and soothing arthritic complaints/joint pain due to anti-inflammatory compounds.
! Caution with the oral ingestion of Mistletoe leaves is recommended when pregnant, breastfeeding or when suffering from heart disease !
